Cellular Dynamic are a Red/Orange ... Std Britpart (Super Gaz) are Yellow.
The Red/Orange ones are better.

This is from Paddock’s site, but you’re right, the Britpart site is more orange. Probably just the colour rendition on the websites.

They do the job well (IMHO)
My advice is to spray up inside the ram cover with lanogaurd or waxoil or white grease (anything really is better than nothing) to coat the inside which will rust quickly as its bare metal up there...
The paint is quite thin and brittle too so if you feel the urge you should give them a rub with a medium grit paper and paint them ...

That’s what I went for. I was going to buy them from Island but their site was down, so I went to Paddock’s.
I need to check the book on how to swap them out - I take it the shock turret doesn’t locate the top of the spring too? In other words, I don’t need to use spring compressors to hold it before I undo the turret nuts?
You don’t need to touch the springs if you are only changing the shocks. Remove the turrets through the engine bay. The 13mm nuts can be reached with long extensions from the top on the drivers side. If you have ACE, there is a bracket that supports the pipes and this is a pain in the arse when getting the turret out through the opening in the inner wing. The passenger side you can reach two bolts from the top, but the other two you need to get from in the wheel arch. The two bottom bolts are 16mm I think.
 
Anyone worked out why the shocker should suddenly leak?
My front right has done so too.
The suspension hardly gets a workout on the road and its developed a squeek at the rear too, which i'm convinced is the damper shaft dry due to not moving or something. The worry is whether they will start leaking too.
I've ordered 2 new front shock absorbers of the same type.

Age, the plastic/rubber seal has split.
Dust/drit getting past the dust seal (which has perished) and worn the lip on the seal.
Water has penetrated the chrome plate of the shaft and has created a raised 'rough patch' which has worn the seal away.

New (standard) shocks aren't that much - £50 a pair ... (ish)
