Wondered if Freelander 1 came with gas shocks as standard?

Doing a top bearing on a front strut. Car drives fine and bounce test fine but no gas pushing strut out when removed.

Maybe it is a non gas type ?

Anyone know ? Thanks

From memory the factory Delphi shocks are gas pressurised.

That's what I thought. Maybe change them then.

The top mount rubber was rotating in the metal plate. Awful squeeking noise.
Not the poly bushes as I thought.

Put on ramp and obvious when in the air !!
