Despite protests from my girlfriend and our daughter, both of whom really loved the Disco!
Shes finally on eBay.
Lots of life left in her, solid chassis, sound engine with AMC head.
New car and less site work, mean I cant justify keeping her, plus Im looking forward to getting my weekends back!
Priced slightly high but Ill see what I can get.
Many thanks to everyone on here for the help and advice over the last couple of years!
Disco ownership has certainly (re) taught me a lot!

Can we have the link to view please

Well she failed ....brake light! So now passed!
Didnt realise I had done 20,000 miles in only 8 months!!!
All basically trouble free, two new front hubs, a water pump and a steering joint!
So anyone interested, yes Disco TD5s can be very reliable, just feed them, water them and pat them on the head occasionally and they will get you there and back.

As for mine, buyer flying down from Scotland tomorrow, to take her away, already paid for her!
Im kind of sad, but she is going to a Landy enthusiast, so thats welcome.

Ill miss the off road capability, the sheer fun and satisfaction of driving a car that Id invested time, money and a big rebuild effort in.
The Mondeo, no matter how smooth, silent and 50 MPG efficient it is, will never give the same driving satisfaction.

The End:(
