I replaced the oil seal behind the brake drum as it was leaking into drum. There was bearing behind there. Is that them and can they be replaced as they are with brake dropped.
 
yes remove seal then circlip and pull shaft and bearing out ,or you can remove speedo housing and do it that way ,bearing is stc1130 but should be easy to check if poor or not
 
you could drop sump plate and check for play in bearings .center (intermediate can be adjusted by nut on outside)contra rotate the 2 props to check center diff gear play (need a front and rear wheel jacked up for that)
 
Had a proper mooch about underneath today. And have come to th conclusion that the splines on front prop plus the uj are knackerd and need replacing and the output bearings on transfer box need doing to. I think all this combined is causing the problems.
 
Just with it being a bearing there's usually a certain amount of pressure needed and can't find any Info to this anywer.
