Is anyone else getting these deep down urges to get involved in some sort of medieval unpleasantness? Something along the lines of the witchfinder generals activities or the Spanish inquisition? If PC plod isn't going to stop these thieving scum then there will inevitably be a popular reaction which wont involve a slap on the wrist from a magistrate.
Just to recap- the aforementioned listing has been removed. It was basically advertising for people to flog this guy any kinds of defender doors for good money- he specifically wanted them from the Sheffield area.
Whether or not this guy was genuine or not in the current climate we dont need to encourage any scrotes to earn more money from us.
The police phoned us back the day after reporting it and they said that there was no evidence that it was 'incitement to thieve'!!!! They would be monitoring the amount of doors pinched to see if that sort of crimes increased!! I got the impression that he had no idea that we were at unacceptable levels of Landrover/parts theft already.......
