Does anybody have a service schedule (ie what gets done at each different service) for a Series II Disco 4.0 V8. When does the timing chanin need to be replaced etc.....

timing chain is not a servicable item and is designed to last the life of the engine.

Basically servicing is as follows:-

12000 oil & filter
24000 oil & filter, gearbox & transfer box oil change, renew auto box filter (first 24000 only) brake fliud change, fuel filter
36000 oil & filter, air filter, antifreeze
48000 as 24000
60000 as 12000
72000 as 36000 & 24000 together, change plugs, change ACE filter & bleed ACE
84000 as 12000
All services, the vehicle is checked over, brakes, lights, tyres etc
