I've just picked up a defender and like alot of people, want to change oil and filters from the start.
I know one place I'll avoid for filters, but who do you use or recommend?

I just order my filters and stuff from Paddocks, just avoid anything that says ****part on it, and then oil from local motor factors.
Although actually got my last lot of oil from Asda coz it was on offer, £10 for 5ltrs

What grade was that , and here's the blond question how much do you need for an oil change for a 200tdi?

Twas "Diesel engine oil" Id have to go and check what grade, but Im comfy on the couch at the minute

Not sue about a 200Tdi, but Im assuming same as a 300, and that's just short of 6litres off the top of my head

Fram are best but hard to find these days so I would say coopers.

I think we know about the "other brand" lol
