so i am going to do a service on my td5 tomorrow. normal i pay to have it done but would rather do it on my own, just have a few questions.

should i pay over the odds for genuine filters or will something like britpart do.

also is this the correct oil for the diffs
Halfords | Castrol Syntrans Multivehicle 75W-90 1L


also what oil is best to use for the transmition.

That will do fine, but £12 + per ltr .... u can get another brand for half that price, same stuff is used in your transfer box..

Probably too late now but euro car parts had a massive discount on car oils and free delivery
