My freind had a nanocom on it today maf sensor is finished a reading of 0.0302 can be either Eu2 or 3 cos it was the tranzition year so check the airbox sensor but as long as you dont feel any difference in driveability and you dont have a nanocom or similar to watch some live data or at least an EGT gauge i cant help much cos i dont like guessing games.
That one could definitely mix up the emmisions a bit on Eu3 engine but you should have noticed some power issues too unless this one was not genuine LR. Drive with it unplugged cos it's better than with a dead one, the only one which would work well is the frigging expensive genuine LR, all the rest are complete lottery, depends on your luck but there are many cases when it's better without it than with aftermarketsMy freind had a nanocom on it today maf sensor is finished a reading of 0.03

The car was far from perfect but the TD5 gave no trouble. Powerful enough for me, great for towing and reasonably economical.

EDC came out in 95/96 on the tdi autos, so if you want to avoid engine ecus you need to be prior to that, or stick to manual gearboxes.Wouldn't need plugging in if it was designed properly in the first place
