just spent the morning doing my service on my 300 tdi defender.
Anyway the middle box has got a big hole in it does anyone know how much they cost ??

get rid of it they arnt needed.put a nice straight thru system on it.will sound a bit better too

Must do, everyone i know with a 300 has straight pipes for centre section, when mine goes (not long now) i will be replacing with straight pipe. Cost about £45.

aye it will pass
i just got a stainless steel one made and he took out two of the silencers and left one,no diffrence in noise pass no probs

i have a middle box in me shed you can have it if ya want it
