I have been using a mobile mechanic to service my previous motor and I don't think he has any experience with L/R. Like the bloke and he does a resonable job. Just need to understand if there is really anything special about a L/R service or is it just the bog standard oil and filters. Or do I need to go to somebody who specialises.

Just bought a FL2 2008 with 63k on the clock. Last serviced by LR in December...

had a 45k service on mine at local independent for £294, included oil, filter, engine flush, pollen filter, air filter plus all the other usual suspects.
£99 for every 9K service by the stealer, including rental car for the day & roadside assistance for a year thrown in

I thought the newer/more modern ones had longer service intervals, its only 6K on the fender (so about once a year for me!!)
