Hi All I'm new to the site and would like some help. Is there any chance one of you with a series 2 could down load me pictures of the throttle linkage, what I want is the bulkhead to the pump, this was altered before I got the old girl and I want to hopefully put it back to the original. I have a picture in the manual, but photo's would be more help. cheer's Boyoak.

Cant help you with the photos though, mines an non standard motor.

Theres a reason it was modified
The old pushrod system was crap
Think a lot will have cables now straight from the peddal
But I'm sure somebody will have standard somewhere

i've got a standard petrol with the rod linkage...works perfect....that any good to you ?

Not what i heard

But, i agree with the statement that the push rod system does work, have it in mine and no problems at all

My old s2 had it but always seems sloppy
Guess if the balls and joints are in good condition they would be ok
