Hi all,
Recently bought myself a series III which looks as though it need a bit of tidying up. I plan to take care of the interior, and it has all the signs of a well used series. Ripped seats, flaky paint on pedals, and levers, grubby dashboard, wiring all over the shop and rust etc.
I hope that a bit of scrubbing on the dashboard, and some satin black hammerite will sort out the levers and pedals etc. (I understand it's not supposed to look nice, but I'd like it to look presentable).
With regards to the floor I plan to get some sound deadening stuff and use that to tidy up the floor as well as cut out the sound.
However, I have owned a couple of classic minis, and there is a load of spares suppliers which stock everything from the mechanical bits and bobs to loads of bolt on extras, and a ****load of interior accessorys and almost anything, you can get a spare of.
With series landys though, there doesn't seem to be any such suppliers. Theres lots of suppliers which supply all the mechanical stuff, but not things like, gear knobs, dashboards & binnacles, etc.
Not a major woe and I dont want the series to look done up or anything, just as close as I can get it to look as it did when it came out the factory as my budget can afford!
So do these sorts of spares outlets exist, or is it just a case of breakers yards and ebay?
