Hi everyone,

I am currently in the process of sorting out my newly aquired SIII (small project turned nightmare). Unfortunately the previous owner has taken out the original seats including the frames and replaced them with some shocking sierra sofa's. Does any one have, make or know of where I can get hold of a pair of standard, non adjustable frames.

Hi John,
Had a look and they only seem to do the seat bases and backs, no frames.

Hi.
I had seen these but was under the impression i needed the square frames that the pads sat in or is the case that both types will work?

Thats correct the bases sit securely in the frames and the backs have bolts that attach them to the brackets shown! BUT if you can weld the frame for the base can be made out of correct gauge angle iron

It is the adjustable bases that have the frame to hold the seat squab.

Good news. I won a pair of the square frames on ebay (it got a bit expensive) so they will hopefully fit
Amazed no one fabricates spares as the usual ebay stuff is ruff and rusty.
