See alloys is wrong  thats why I has modulars :D

i'd sooner see banded steels, i reckon they'd look the dogs doodahs but i guess a set of modulars are the cheaper option

my 109 has a set of the 130 steel rims which are subtle enough to push the 7.50 tyres out to the arches without instantly standing out, 6.5" wide rims that if i fit 235/85s to almost makes it a mini bigfoot without any bling

Yeah they are a bit wimpy lol

Tell you what also can look nice is those deep dish rims off the forward controls

i do believe that wolfs and the deep dish forward control rims are the same width, 6.5" ;)

the offset may be different and i think the wolfs are made out of heavier guage steel

cheapest option in that size are the 130 rims, anr1534 if you can find them

I was bidding on a set of MOD wheels, glad I didn't buy them now!

They went for way more than those 35's set me back :)

Yeah the fc rims have a different offset I think. I don't know what guage they are but the wolf ones are 5 or 6mm if I remember rightly without going and measuring.

Anywy dr evil those Modulars look nails mate.

Cheers Flat :) I've got a front prop shaft to put on tomorrow fingers crossed it fits! If so I'll be getting round to bleeding the clutch once I sort the rad out :D

Don't think the wolfs would support those 35's  :D

Wolfs are seriously strong and heavy 8 spokes Yuk cheapest nastiest things ever! Modulars better but still a cheap cop out!
Std landy rims wolf or rostyle look the nads!

Some alloys do look period for series but some series had 35
Inch std tyres

Started to fill the rad today after making up a weird ass hose to bypass the water pump belt…….one of the small hose fittings on the top of the inlet manifold is missing/broken off so that ended up being plugged with a bolt and a whole load of silicone!

Hopefully that'll be the last leaky bit on the engine and the previous owner in his wisdom blanked off the bottom hose that goes to the heater matrix, think he as as water only flowed out of one hole and the vehicle is tilted slightly on a hill so water would have run backwards anyway! Hopefully good on that front :D

Found and fixed two more leaking pipes, that'll be all til Monday now. Got one more pipe to reroute and then if I'm lucky I may be able to fire it up and bolt on my front prop shaft

I also bodged up all me pipes, still got the turbo pipes to do in morrow. I used pieces of pipe to hook up things up, I had an old engine where someone did it and just took all the little bits of rad hose apart. hope it doesn't leak!!

what you rekon joining the intercooler to manifold with a piece of stainless exhaust and rubber pipe?

Thor, to be fair they were made from brass, and they probably didn't use antifreeze that has modern chemicals in like it does today!!

I rekon ill be test drivin mine tomorrow , when do you rekon youll be ?

Mine are cobbled together from Saab turbo pipe work and some old RV8 stuff I had from two engines!
Personally I'd go for it if it works, would look good and would t expand under pressure or over the years and delaminate

Next week hopefully, got the props, need to bleed clutch and strengthen up the seat box though so I can bolt a seat in. Not doing anything to it this weekend and only have a few hours of daylight to work on it as I don't have a garage :(

Bodywork I can do under the floodlight as it's just rivets though I suppose
