Hello all. I'm rebuilding my iia which and have read that the later series III clutch will fit on the same flywheel. Can anyone tell me whether what else is involved in this conversion, i.e. does the thrust bearing/slave cylinder stay as is?

I am confident you don't need to change anything else.
The centre plate just sits out a quarter inch more all round, and you can pre-check it won't foul anything before you assemble it. You may even be able to use your original clutch cover, but if you are buying a new one anyway, get one that "belongs" to the same Landy as the new centre plate.

Also, make VERY sure the bare centre plate slides nicely onto the gearbox input shaft before you do anything else. If it won't do that, get a plate that does. There are more than one spline type out there.

The extra half inch diameter makes a worthwhile difference to the clutch. It can handle more work for longer.
