There is quite a bit of adjustment on the door pillars. And it is possible to renew the pins, they are just a hardened steel bar.

I'll just buy tdi ones or series 2a ones if I happen across one cheap

Thats a defender door catch and your series 3 has coil springs and TD5 on the wing , are you sure of what you bought some overall pics would help.

It's a defender going to fit series doors to it

Going to fit the S.P. doors to mine as I did to my 90 a few months ago they come as a kit which inc the S3 style door hinges and handle and lock assy's when I get to fitting all the body work on
