I've done search but can't seem to really find anything about converting a Discovery into a Series bodied hybrid.
Is there a thread or threads that I'm missing or is this sort of thing frowned upon as being a heinous crime?
If anyone can point me in the right direction it'd be appreciated, I'm only really looking for the pitfalls, problems and fixes.
I am going to try and build an 88", 3.9 V8, Discovery powered and chassis'd, Series III rag top!
I have the donor cars. This has come about from a SIII restoration that went awry when the supposedly good chassis was stuffed, and, I got offered an LPG'd Disco at good money but with a V tatty interior. It seems to make sense to me to take the Disco's brakes, chassis and suspension and put it on a serious diet, seems to me it'd make for an awesome beast?
