Hey guys I have bought a series 3 swb land rover and am wondering if I can weld on a new rear 1/4 chassis without taking the body off? To some this may sound like a stupid question but I dont have the tools to take off large pieces of body off, and I have looked at the rear1/4 chassis and the only place that I can see were it is connected to the body is the rear crossmember by some bolts. so is this possible or just another mad idea?

you dont need tools just a mate to give you a lift

Leaks an prone to bits dropping off
You'd have to cut some holes in the tub to be able to weld over the top edge of the chassis
