another idea i had was looking at the 109 master cylinder and whther that would fit? theory being it would move more fluid in one push cos slightly bigger bore , I once had a success on a suzuki Gsxr600 with weak brakes when i put a GSXR750 master cylinder on the bigger bikes master sharpened the brakes up a treat!

I will fix this FEcker.. if it kills me

bit of an update.. I phoned craddocks who supplied the drums and they told me the pedal pulsing was down to not doing the shoes at the same time as the drums. so i ordered new shoes all round from craddocks, the shoes came and i fitted them, but no joy still pulsing!

so i put the old drums on one by one and took it out each time. no joy until the 4th original drum went on and bingo pulsing gone! So can only assume craddocks supplied me a dodgy oval drake drum, but yet to try putting it back on as the weather has turned
I am going to have to ask them to send me another and do some testing

so the pumping.. re bled and re bled and eventually i now have a pedal that passed the MOT this saturday!!!:clap2: it still pumps up slightly but this could be the shoes going out so far first press and then bit :lvheart-beat-019:further the next...

so its now driveable, still not convinced I couldn't get it better if I got OE parts and redid the drums and the master cylinder but that is for summer I got a year to sort it out!

tester found a bit on the rear cross memeber that will need a weld soon, sure he could've failed it on a million things but turns outr he used to have a series 2 and just spent the whole time he was testing raving about landies and how he loved his!!!!
