If I drill out all the rivets can I replace my corroded rear quarter panel from the inside without taking the cab and galvanised rail off and replace it with a new panel? I have looked and it seems possible……which means I probably can’t!! Any advice welcome thanks. John

Are you talking about the end panel or side?...either still need to remove all galv rails as they are rivited to them and you also have many, many spot welds to drill out also behind the wheel arch it is spot welded to the rear rail thats bolted to the rear cross member...

This is the panel I mean. I removed the rubber bump stop above the fog light because its base was rusty. Therefore the aluminium skin is now corroded where it was located. I nw think I will sand it and fill it with a P38 skim, Upol Dolphin Glaze to finish and a coat if marine blue. I thought the corrosion was coming from steel behind the panel but I think it’s from the bumpstop. Replacing the panel is beyond me.
