Hi all,

Just joined the site and thought I'll say hi.

In the process of 'doing up' a series 3 swb, nearly ready for the MOT... just can'r wait to get her dirty! :p

Based in hertfordshire and would love to know some green lanes nearby and anywhere else you can go of road for some weekend fun/

Morning Andy, thick skin, sense of humour, ability to laugh at yourself all needed on here. Don't take things to heart and carry on with that ser3. Welcome.

hi, i volunteered as a foot path warden, that gives me opportunity to off road and use the landy rather than just playing.

how do you add an image?

If it's for you signature or Avtar goto user cp and click edit profile find "manage attachment" and go from there quite easy once you find it.

If it's in a post click go advanced and click "manage attachments"

with the help of another landyloony we cleared a bridleway, we now have a winch so we wont be using the kinetic energy rope for pulling trees out.

this is in north worcestershire, the landy pictured has now moved to cornwall where i hope he is happy.

Nice looking landy. If you put your location in your profile it helps people know where you are from. Just the county is fine

Cheers.

Hi Andy,
Likewise, just joined the forum Also have series 3 109. I am just north of Milton Keynes. Currently converting my 2.25 petrol to unleaded head, I got a head gasket set from Paddocks. It had about 5 small copper rings set in it, all other holes were unlined. I have cranked the head down to 90lbs/ft and managed to re-oil the drive. I think also I have put the gasket on arse about. Can I re-use it? Should it have copper rings througout? Should I take up knitting?

Have re-used head gaskets in the past but it's not recommended. A new gasket should have 'front' or 'top' stampe on it to help you fit it right. Can you knit me a new trolley jack 'cos mine has gone on strike.

Nice looking landy. If you put your location in your profile it helps me know where you are from, so I can come and nick it. Just the county is fine, but a full address is better, along with a list of times it'll be unattended.

Cheers.
