So got the back body back on, electrics sorted, tank reconnected and few final jobs to get the old thing moving after a couple of years. Blimey, you do forget how heavy the steering is and rubbish the breaks are....time for a sit down and a calming cup of tea.
 
Brakes should lock the wheels if stood on. If they don’t you may need more tinkering.
It’s the standing on them that’s often the trouble :D
 
Series brakes are fine, good brakes. If you've the post rationalisation axles. They do fade on repeated breaking, though, coming down out of mountains.
Twin leading shoes and a servo is a decent system.
10 inch drums all round, no servo, not so much.
 
Its only because its been sat for a bit and i had to move two 110's out the way to move the S3.....oh and the front tyres were down to 20 psi
