Hi.All. Is it possible for main gearbox oil to migrate to transfer box? Just checked levels and main box down / transfer box up. Is it possible and can it be fixed without removing entire transmission from car?

it is possible .there is a seal 236305 that fits into bearing housing ,to get to it you would have to remove pto cover ,mainshaft nut gear seal collar with splash shield ,and maybe intermediate gear depending on splash shield, would be tricky to do insitu

Thanks for the info James. I think i will just check levels every couple of months and fix it if the box has to come out at any time. Regards Chris.
