Hi Everyone,
i need some help so today i stripped down my rear axle and the differential is not looking its best to say the least... so i am wondering were is the best place to get my diff rebuilt?

Sorry!got nearly the same Work to do
here in Switzerland! but have found
some Dealer on the Internet the sell
the Parts.
So there is a Way to make it .

This was in the Oil of the Rear Dif.

ouch...make sure to get all the bits out of the diff casing

4.7 diffs are prone to that damage because the pinion is so small,rtc2990 is the number for a new crown wheel and pinion, if you use timken bearings and original pinion shims and follow book on adjusting diff carrier bearings you should be ok

I had similar damage to my rear diff last year, may be not the best but i bought a used one and replaced the whole thing, cost £20 (from memory) - certainly a cheaper option and did the job
