Hello,

I have a series 3 with coil springs, range rover running gear etc. Managed to get some 33 x 12.5 tyres.. I am going to put an inch of lift on it so I am just wondering whether it is best to go with a lift kit for a RRC or a 90 as the weight of the vehicle will be similair to a 90??

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Its a pukka one from Richards Chassis. Already had the RR running gear.

Unfortunately not tax emept, its a later model with a 2.25 diesel.

Still needs a Q plate - new chassis, modified suspension, presumably different axles, brakes, steering etc.

So does it have a RR chassis then? You say RR running gear etc...but a 2.25 diesel...what bit of the "running" is RR and what bit other than the engine is series?

I think Richards used to sell a coil spring conversion chassis for the series but they don't any more - probably 'cos the DVLA/VOSA regs made it an unattractive proposition.

Yes definatley need to Q plate it as its a miss match of everything. May even be tempted to make it into a trials vehicle.

Thanks for the help.
