Just picked up an ex military Series 3 109" and was checking carb and saw reference to Solex label on Zenith and thought photo might be helpful for others.

In 1965 the companies Zenith and Solex merged and in the UK became Solex UK who then owned the rights to all Zenith designs and the name, which eventually fell out of use and all Solex UK carburettors were branded Solex.

Thanks....many years ago had a Series 2A and more recently Freelander 1......looking forward to spending every spare minute and £ on the latest one
