hi I'm new to the site, im the proud owner of a 2.25 petrol swb 1966 2a, the topic that I need some help with is the correct seals for the cab bulkhead vents. They are well perished and letting by water so I ordered the after market replacements from paddock spares. These are completely different to those already fitted, where as those that are already fitted are lipped the replacements are a solid section of rubber which obviously do not receive the flaps or allow them to house correctly. Through research the only lipped replacements that I have found are for a series 3, will these fit a 2a. Quite a trivial matter but I do like to make sure that everything is right on my landy.

Cheers, I thought that might be the case. let me know when you're ready for some suspension queries? Ta

can be a bit tricky to fit...but I found that putting them inside a plastic bag and dunking them for a few minutes in hot water to soften them up worked well then bedded them in using RTV silicone sealant and closed vents to hold them in until set

Thanks, i did fit one of the wrong ones just to see if they were right, i found them ok to fit but then obviously came a cropper when i realised they needed to be liped.
