I'd be very wary. Expect he will want your bank details so he can transfer the money across. A friend of mine has just been swiftly relieved of £1500 by a scam before Christmas. Cash is the only way I work.

Bank transfers from several foreign countries can be reversed by the payee for, I believe, up to 6 months from date of transaction! Not the safest way to take payment unless you are 100% sure of the buyer.

Agree it is a scam. Sold a bike recently and had 2 people wanting to pay full price, no bartering or negotiation. One offered to overpay me to cover storage. Old adage says if it is too good to be true then it is a scam

Yep it's a scam, does it have parabolics all round? If so will buy them off you, even when the series 2a was been fazed out and series 3s were first built they all had the metal dash with cluster in centre. It's either had bulkhead swap at some time or it's had an old log book from a 2a given to it....
Personally I would give you a few hundred quid for it

well , he has transferred funds into account have spoken to bank and they confirm the money is in there and cant be removed unless I approve transfer .

He plans to stick it on a galvanised chassis which he has .
