A picture I came across on the internet.

Apparently this is located at a now abandoned mine at Dallol, Ethiopia. This is said to be one of the hottest places on earth.

It would be interesting to know if it still had a VIN plate on the bulkhead.

I assume the engine and gearbox were used as spare parts on another Series that was there when the mine was running.

Re vin plate, don't suppose it will show on google earth or streetview. Still I have no doubt it will soon apprear in the local market!
