found this on my travels what do people think series 1 or 2? Sorry the pictures are not great and I know it's far from a complete car but is it worth doing anything with? The tub and seat box are in very good nick but engine looks like a rust box and the head is missing. Bulkhead would most likely need replaced and no wings or bonnet or doors that I could see. Total waste of time and money?

Bloody phone won't let me upload any more photos, think the chassis the tub is sitting on belongs to an old rover James, I got excited when I saw the tub as I was sure it was a series 1

the bulkhead looks like an early series 1 item, without the vents. Worth big money probably, especially f its on good nick.

That looks pretty repairable to me if you're good with a welder. Personally I'd be whipping that up. If you're not interested can you tell me where it is? hahaha

I just noticed you're in Angus. Whereabout? I'm from a farm near Arbroath originally, live near Blairgowrie/Glen Isla now though.

Oh wouldn't you like to know Erubus!!!

Ha ha just outside Kirriemuir do you want to come and point out all the things I have done wrong with my series 3 rebuild they are probably numerous!

Haha, I'm not one for pointing out peoples' mistakes. I have too many of my own! I'd be up for meeting up though if you're up for it. Its always good to meet other like minded people, especially local guys. I have a nice big workshop that can be made available for engine changes etc if you ever need the space. Are you planning on going to the Farming Yesteryear show at Scone Palace on the 10th of September? I show my landy there every year. Have a stationary engine booked on this year as well, although it is still in many pieces on my workshop floor!

I have been to the show before thought it was great but think I may miss it this year due to work. I am lucky enough that I have a workshop at work with a car lift that I have all to my self, but would be great to meet up for a chat certainly would be nice to have someone with a good knowledge of landy's to help solve problems. What started as removing the gearbox to have sorted has ended up being a complete nuts and bolts rebuild, it would be fair to say I am probably well in over my head but with the help of all the knowledgeable guys on here I seemed to have muddled through so far. Let me know what days / times are good for you
