Anyone know of an alternative to
Hurling Crimson brake fluid.
Is it ATF ?

Only use girling in the series 1.

Other family members just use dot 3. They don't have any problems.
Looks like I will make the change to this. We have had the master rebuilt 2 years ago.

my series 3 has dot 4 in it - although I don't think there is much difference between 3 and 4 other than boiling point - I was told to use dot 4.

so 3 or 4 should do

I have never found there is much difference either. And I am not sure if many regular factors carry DOT3 now, it is getting a bit old fashioned.

DOT 4 spec is desiged to be backwards compatible (so they could withdraw DOT3) so it should be OK.
