Hi all
Just had these given to me, is there a specific place on the vehicle they should be placed or is it a matter of personal preference.

I believe they go on the wing below the side repeater. If you do a google image search you will see

Hi ZDomZ
Thanks for the reply, that's what I did and yes I think your right however, I also saw on various photo's the badges in all sorts of places but I think the right place is below the side repeater.
Thanks for your help.

I think that the Serengeti badge was a dealer fit item that would have been fitted during the PDI process, due to most models having ES or whatever in that location most guys. doing the PDI would have just instinctively gone for that spot. I imagine there would have been a bulletin from landrover about location but that may not have been read by all technicians!

Just had a look online for any L/R bulletins but no luck but I think your right about the placement.
PS like the roof mounted lights

Tread carefully. As the Serengeti a Limited Edition, is it wise to festoon you'r vehicle with these badges.? May seem very trivial but insurance company's will use any excuse not to pay out. They will argue you never declared it was a Limited Edition which "may" have affected you'r premium at the renewal stage. You say, "it's not,I just put the Serengeti Badges on." Then they will state that you should have declared you have fitted the badges, giving the impression of a Limited Edition as this "may" also have affected you'r premium.
Trust me, they will do ANYTHING to avoid paying out.Even stating the vehicle has been "modified" to replicate a Limited Edition.
Give them a call. They may say it's fine - no worries. But it's safer than them not paying out on a technicality if the worst should happen.
