Hi all,

I am looking to sell my roof tent.

It has been slept in for about 20 nights, so still very much new.

That seems a very good price for a roof tent for someone... one question though... why the Toyota

Hi Bump,

Thanks for the comment on price.

Well, why Toyota land Cruiser.
I wasn't always a land Cruiser owner, I did have several Land Rovers, and initially loved every one of them.
The rugged looks, the feel of supremacy, etc, etc,
But unfortunately, it was the dreaded reliability that eventually broke my heart, and after spending serious money to keep them running, I gave up.
I really do like the rugged looks, but I need reliability, mile after mile, year after year.
Land Cruiser is 7 years old, with 250,000 miles showing.

Apparently the Aussies have a saying that goes.. If you want to travel out into the Bush, you will need a land rover or a land cruiser. If you want to come back from the bush, you choose a land cruiser..

hi does it come with all the fixture and fittings and would it fasten onto a roll cage?

thanks

Hi Mandy,

It has 2 ultra strong galvanised support bars, which are more than long enough to span the roll bar, in either direction.
IE, left to right, or front to rear.
To each of the 4 ends of the 2 support bars, you would fit a "uni-strut" captive spring-nut.
Then the clamping bracket will hold in place.
I have several of the "uni-strut" captive spring-nuts.

The bars are really strong, I can stand on just one of the support bars, and no bending deflection at all, I am about 14 stone (90kg)
