Hi all.

Couple of years back i bought a half done project. 90 with v8 that the owner had spent lots of money and done a nut/bolt rebuild but never finished engine, electrics etc etc.

Due to change in circumstance i can no longer store the truck or will have time in the near future to carry on with it.

Would it be best to sell as is or strip it for parts and sell them instead?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Sounds like a nice project for someone, and if you stripped it you might end up with a load of unsold parts to store.

Depends what you've got there. If there are some expensive accessories like a winch, winch bumper etc. you might be better off selling them separately.

Only things that may be high value are the Hobson Engineering recon V8 i purchased and dropped in, The new interior, carpet + seats and the set of 5 brand new Cooper Discovery STT tyres / rims.

Main reason i thought of stripping is that most people think buying a half done project is like a buying a hand grenade.

I stripped an MGB GT V8 6 years ago and I've still got two boxes of bits left!
When you strip a car you don't get rid of it very quickly at all...

Wheels and tires will be easy to get rid of but it will be probably better together as a project.
