just interested in opinions really.

do frills like bigger tyres 7.50's v 6.05's? or overdrives command much of a premium you are buying or selling an old series.

probably going to bow out of series ownership so wondering whether to sell things like wolf rims or the od separately, neither of which were on the vehicle when I bought it.

Try for a sale with the price marked up for the extras first as its a faff to take the bits off and you may not make enough extra for the messing about.

I would say the only 'extra' that adds value is the overdrive, most of the other parts are personal preference (some people like 'standard vehicles' or 'small tyres') or merely help a quick sale. Overdrives are commanding strong money on ebay but if you remove it, you'll need to put the gear back in the box and find a blanking plate as well as covering the hole left by the lever in the gearbox tunnel. As said by @rob1miles try a sale with the price reflecting the extras and see how you go.

thx for the replies, might just stick it up then and see what offers I get

i still have all the bits - the cog, backing plate and castellated nut - I took off when I put the od on so that should be ok.

Just looked at the OD prices on e-bay. Doesn't make sense, I wonder how many are selling. I bought an decent OD with all the linkage plus drive for £375 at Beauliue this summer and quite a few people must have walked past it before me.
