Advertise it for maybe 25% more than what you want for it. You'll be awash with offers regardless of what selling price you put on. That's my current experience.
Your parts are obv worth a lot more than the price you mention.

I’d say that even without an engine, the price you’ve given is giving it away. Try £3.5k with issues listed. As mentioned, if you can get the engine sorted and twelve months’ MoT, you should see £5k.

It would pass an mot tomorrow no problem

Definitely worth asking more then. Better still, see if you can fix the engine issue, new MoT and you’re done.:)

I'm not on any horse. If you know how much parts cost, you know how much a vehicle is worth.

The cost of the parts has no bearing on the value of the vehicle, you can't sell second hand parts for what you paid for them. You can spend 20k on parts for a vehicle and it wouldn't make it worth 20k more.

I agree, but even second hand the parts are costly. Therefore it would be a co consideration.

Yes'' you would only regret selling at a loss, better to spend a bit more and get a good price.
If you haven't done any thing by new year let me know...

Tony...

Think about giving it a wash and polish anorl. Yer i know it goes against the grain but the typical metrosexual cosmopoliton reading tratterer will pay more for it. A lot more.

Very true, clean windows and new light lenses an all. Due to colour, might aim it at the ladies market so box of girlie tissues on the dash :D:D

No roof rack. Tesco shopping buyers won't be able to enter their car parks. Same for multistory jobs.

Now I would put all the accessories on and include swing away etc but no roof rack makes sense because it was a pain getting into car parks or not getting into them especially with the tall tyres as well, could take swing away off and put spare on bonnet but it makes it very hard to lift up
