do it mate, if you want a defender you are never gonna be totally happy with the disco!

but, i would get a 110 not a 90. you see modded 90's all the time, but you dont see many people with proper modded 110's - i reckon the LWB looks better when its been a bit modded as well!

but the way I think is..they rust as bad as the Discovery if not worst, they'll probably break as often..etc,etc…

Or am I wrong in thinking this?
from what I've read on the defender, the rear x-member, bulkhead and door rust a lot…
but then again..a defender can be taken to bits a lot easier than a disco…
and a Defender…well, it's a Defender!

what would you do?
I really don’t know… I would really like a Defender, but then I think "I'll just be spending more money and end up with the same problems as a Disco, but with a different shell…"

go for it fella, iv never looked back. disco went for a 110sw and yes they are completely different beasts in comfort etc plus heater works in a disco! but defenders just feel right and your not so worried bout knockin them etc. much easier to work on and mod.
dunno bout trouble fittin in them? im 6foot6 and dont have a problem.
plus you already sound sold :)
 
ok...been looking at defender.. saw this one on ebay.

I know some people dont like to buy with modifications and that they dont add any value to the vehicle, however, I do give them some value as if I buy standard I'll just end up spending the money on the extras anyway....

Description seems very honest, but I live 200 miles away from the seller, so Im just waiting for his contact to explain that if he's not being honest and I turn up to find a completly wrong description, I'm going to shove the 4ft hi lift up his ass..

anyway... what you guys think?
