A really good test of how effective it is in WVO is to make a note of the maximum revs the engine will pull under load - I couldn't get it to rev past around 3100rpm or something like that on plain veg oil - add a dash of the old two stroke funky spunk and it's happy to rev up to the red again.

I can't remember the exact ratio, but it's tiny. I think I might have posted it in an old thread, but I add around 25ml to every 50 L and it seems to be fine. Put in as little as you need to really..

2 stroke is expensive, so yeah.. as little as needed really.

Changed the filter on the p38 (hopefully for the last time in a few months!) and back up to running great on veg :)
Also picked up a bunch of new wvo filtering kit over the weekend. Making my life alot easier already!

Nice one - what filtering gear did you get?

TSO - 0.5% was the recommended starting dosage I now recall for those that asked, I searched some of my old posts and I think one said it was 5%! oops.. missed out the period in front of it! :(
I have found Asda is quite cheap for TSO though if you're only buying a little at a time.. £5/Litre.

New oil drum with a 3kw immersion, 4 filter housings with loads of extra filters, gear driven pump, im tweaking it so it has a recirc to protect the pipework / pump so that i can fill it up with the trigger nozzle safely. :)

Contemplating going back to making bio soon, if i decide to build a new reactor. Not sure.

Hot filtering eh? Are you using a settling tank/s to pre and post settle after filtering, and what bypass method are you using?
Dunno what pipework you're using but I've got JG speedfit 22mm plastic pipe and fittings, which are good for 5-10 bar (IIRC) so they can really get up pressure before going pop if I don't leave a valve cracked open!
