Anyone else had the tensioner seize where it goes through the timing cover what a s*** to get out
Yes! I agree. The silly little nut that retains the arm rounded too, so I had to bugger it up with a Dremel and chisel it off.
Got the arm off, cleaned the bore with sandpaper and WD40, then reassembled with copper grease. I have the luxury of a parts car so no waiting around for bits, and there's something to practise on.
Aha. In that case, pop a jack and block under the engine and remove the hydramount. Doesn't take very long and then you'll be able to lift everything up and remove the arm, unless you're happy the arm isn't seized now.
