Afternoon all
New member needing advice. Soon to be proud owner of series 2a and was wondering about security: pedal box? But which one will fit. Thanks M8

i need to get some security myself, currently locked up in an enclosed compound though.

A pedal box and steering wheel box is a good plan. There have been posts on here about people cutting straight through pedal claws though, it just makes the job harder and less appearling. however as it is it's normally defenders that are stolen as opposed to series vehicles. That said, series landys are going up in value. Where are you parking yours? My concern is that once i have mine home it's on the road, so i am getting a clutch claw, a wheel lock and i already have an electrical immobiliser. They're cheap and easy to fit, though not exactly high security, will stop opportunnists but regardless of security, no matter what you do if somebody really wants it, they'll have it.

There was a time when a certain knack was needed to start mine up. I never worried about it getting nicked because I knew no one else had the knack. Now though, through various improvements, it starts easily so I need to think about better security. I might just take the rotar arm off.

Mine hasn't got a fuel tank at the moment so i'm not concerned.

I wish craddocks would respond...

Apparently '62 reg. '72. Having work done at mo. Not to much to chassis thank stars. Has been monstered a bit but I intend to put back to reasonable order. It will be my daily work vehicle. M8

I use an Ardcase pedal lock and a steering wheel lock. There is some additional security too which I won’t mention. ;-)
