Just thought i would share this.

I was forever paranoid about my landrover on drive,
Wonderin if it would still be there in the morning.

So i bought a wireless house alarm. Alarm box and keypad at
My bed side. 2 sensors in landrover.

Please share if you think it might help some one.

Hmmmm .... and I s'pose the next post will be how he can supply the alarm units at a (cough) suitable price!
 
I can think of better ways to secure a landy - and given that house alarm sensors work on movement, any passer by will trigger through the window :/


OP - do you have a wife to swap?
 
the sensors don't work through glass lol that's why you can use a riot shield to avoid being detected by them

A 90db siren mounted inside with a latching relay works wonders!

Cheap. simple and it works! :D

Haven't we been here before once or twice? :D
 
Yesterday we dug 2x 750mm holes in mums drive- less than impressed.

Were now going to sink some 5mm thick tube in. And then have a removable upright with some plate spot welded across the center of the removable tube making it hard to angle grind!

We prefer the more physical deterrent!
