I went out to car this morning to find that the front windows were open about 4 inches and door's unlocked. The car was secured the night before, it would be appropriated if someone else has had the same thing happen and managed to cure it πŸ˜”
I'm sorry I forgot to put details of vehicle. Range Rover L322 td6 2006

Does the L322 have the window feature where if you press and hold the unlock button windows will go down? Might be a case of something inadvertently pressed the unlock button on the fob for a bit and caused this

It does but on the 2011 you have to hold the unlock button to start it and then once released it will roll the windows the full way down. I can't remember on the 2009 one whether you have to hold the button while they roll, it may be that way and if it is that could explain it.

My old CLK used to have an overly excitable boot release button. When the kids were small and climbing over me it would often open on the driveway (they have phenomenal range too). Neighbours used to knock the door and tell me it was open but after a while they'd just shut it and not disturb us :)

MY2005 has the option. They stop opening when you let go of the button, also opens the sunroof if you press it for too long which is a bugger when it's raining or you forget to check.

Mine has done it to my face before now and stuck her tongue out at the same time 🀣 And not when I was locking/pressing buttons. She has also opened all 4 windows, completely, overnight. Luckily it wasn't raining.
I blamed battery the first couple of times, but the day she did it whilst I was walking away, the battery was in great shape, fully charged and just had a 2hr run.
No cause or cure ever found. I just hope it doesn't happen in the rain πŸ™ˆ
