I made a peddle lock for mine. I'm sure it's not as strong as ones you can buy but it's s bit more noise they have to make trying to take it, plus my dogs a light sleeper :D

I use an 'Ardcase' pedal lock and also a 'Stoplock Pro' for the steering wheel. I also have another electronic security device ;)

The downside is that I often take my other car for quick runs to the shops etc because I cannot be bothered to fight my way into it and store the devices safely inside once removed

These seem pretty good to me, not too big or expensive.

Clutch claw looks stronger plus it has the visual deterrant of being bright yellow with a flashing light :) Bit more expensive but are good, getting one for mine eventually when I can afford it

I could do better, go Anne summers, leave a sex swing up in the back, whips etc, who's going want steal it then!!!! ( all items used of course.....)

Put an isolator(kill) switch on the battery and a padlock and hasp on the bonnet. Just a matter of unlocking, lifting bonnet slightly and turning switch key/removing and closing/locking bonnet. Also as said before. Fit a cheap steering lock for the druggies/idiots.

I use the look of the motors a few hidden built in safety features the fact they all have pmt and are partial to 2stroke mix before starting and they don't like doing anything for anyone else but me, my dog and the village, I cant get out of the village without being seen by half the village and if anyone else but me is driving one of my landys my phone goes off like mad, but I have battery isolaters and kill switches which work well

I use an anderson connection from the battery it looks like its used for jump starting and cost nothing as i got it from work, we use them to connect unit to trailers for the tail lifts this was a damage one I adapted see pics
Please explain what this Anderson connection does. Sorry, but I don't understand. Thanks!

But looking at the pictures the Anderson plug is just acting as a switch. The removable part of the plug is just bridged with a short length of wire to complete the circuit. This works in the same was as one of the "key" operated battery isolaters but look less like an isolater switch, as many people have them fitted for jump leads etc, especially commercial vehicles.

Thanks, Dag.
I'll just put in door locks, and use a steering wheel lock-bar if I have to leave the Rover unattended in a non-secure area for a long period of time.
Have a great day!
Mike
