i have removed 2 of the 4 rear seats in my TD5 90 and made storage boxes in their place. MOT is now due, anyone know what the position is with this change ?

The position is, the tester will only be unable to check two rear seats + anchorage and any associated seat belts.
Did you expect anything else?

I did not know what to expect hence the question.
I was unsure whether I would need to return the seating to the original. Your first paragraph addresses my question & thank you. The second paragraph is an open question.

Side-facing seats aren't testable items on the MOT. So the presence, condition or absence of the seats or seatbelts is irrelevant to the test.

Thanks I didn’t know that. I was concerned I would have to put the back, took me ages to remove them & fit storage instead.
