I was made to change to inertia type for the MOT. Clearly open to interpretation.I run mine as a truck cab in the winter and a soft top in the summer, in both instances I have the seatbelts (static belts, not inertia reels) mounted to the bulkhead. Never had an issue with MOTs but I try not the think about their shoulder snapping potential being mounted so low should I ever have a crash.
