Afternoon all hope you can advise on this
110 Defender 2002 hard top with basic spec.
I need to replace the front seatbelts but find that when I search for td5 ones the price increases substantially. Why?
There's no dash warning lights or pretensioners etc so I'm wondering what the difference might be from say an older model 300tdi .
Are the buckles different?
Obviously as a tight Scotsmen🤣 I'd prefer to go with the cheaper universal ones on ebay .

None I can think of, aftermarket ones are sold suitable for 300 and Td5 models.
You will have have your 🦵pulled on this forum now an then .Cheers.:)
 
@Windy scotland , no idea as to why there's such a big difference in price but it'd be worth cross referencing seat belt types and the different mounting points between model years...they're not all the same.

Good bit of info there thank you. I assume the price difference is between audible and non audible from the descriptions.
