Both of my 93 RR vogue classic front seats have u.s mechanisms. Anyone else had this problem and any clues? I've heard meths is the answer but I've tried drinking that and they still don't move even if everything else does...

if its any help my fathers 96 classic had the same problem on the drivers seat that turned out to be the the switching mechanism in the box of levers, took it apart very carefully keeping it covered with a cloth to stop all springs and ballbearings disappearing, cleaned and re-assembled using small ammounts of vaseline and everything has worked ever since

Worked for me when my drivers seat went back but not forwards! Which was nice...

Thanks very much - I'll try that. Vaseline sounds a better bet than meths! Thanks for the advice.
