now that I've got the taste for something a bit thick I'm off for a whale buttie and a side order of spam :p P.S. I wouldn't buy anything from me either as I'm a towny scumbag from Middlesbrough.

A BIT THICK!!

Jeez, you just described yourself as a scumbag from Middlesbrough.
What a dick :D

Took you long enough to come up with the very imaginative and witty reply Kergan (but not as log as me)....you sad 80's throwback......to me....to you!

After much deliberation  I finally opted to purchase some seat covers for my 90 Defender instead of going down either the full retrim or new seats route. My reasonings for this option were - Price, Ease, Practicality.
Anyway, I saw an advert for 'Coverking' in the back of Land Rover International, took a look at their website and decided to give their 'Monarch' covers a try. Delivery took 1 day and I can only say they are excellent quality and much better feeling and looking than the usual nylon affairs that you get. All for just £41.90 which includes the vat and delivery. Anyone needing some covers could do worse than get these me thinks. :D

I got a couple of army poncho's, hardly what you would call made to measure but they drape over the seats and do quite a good if not great job of keeping the seats clean. You can get camo ones if yer a mad army freak, and if needed you have a poncho when it ****es down.

I guess if yer wife is a dab hand wif the sowin doo da then you could do a bit of fabrication.

Am a cheap skate bastid so ah am, £41 quid, ya know how much beer that is.

Nice idea that Dave, I used to have a couple of army ponchos that used to button together to form a small tent....used them at Glastonbury once. Like the thought of stuff having more than one use.
