It’s a pice of pish. Plenty of vids showing the stitching on uyube. The centre bit is a donut of plywood with the self tappers through the boss. Oh and the bits on the spokes are bendy bits of ally just wrapped round.Superb.
You don't fancy doing another wheel in that yak skin do you?
Your series is like a palace of luxury compared to the rest of us hahaIt’s a pice of pish. Plenty of vids showing the stitching on uyube. The centre bit is a donut of plywood with the self tappers through the boss. Oh and the bits on the spokes are bendy bits of ally just wrapped round.
Only coz sum nut put a series 3 bulkhead and dash in it. Not being original I decided to have a play.Your series is like a palace of luxury compared to the rest of us haha
That's a good reason. If it's original keep it original, if it's a little ****y then go nuts with it. Turn it into some kind of dieselpunk thing.Only coz sum nut put a series 3 bulkhead and dash in it. Not being original I decided to have a play.
The parking was an issue. I sorted it and now they stop wherever they like.I like it, nice work. It must have taken ages. Years ago I used a 1940s treadle machine to make some vinyl seats for a Herald, went well unilt i got a bit carried away with the treadle and stiched through my thumb. Not only did it hurt but I had to back the machine by hand to get the needle out then remove the stitch! I think you need to sort the wiper parking next!
"I've serviced it to a complete standstill"
I'd like another bash at one. I might even get it right this time. That's exactly what the last 4 years feels like
@Bobsticle the Mrs reckons that she can manage the needle and thread work if I supply the material ready to go on. If that doesn't work I am genuinely enquiry whether you might consider it?
